Account Manager, Consultants Collective

POSITION SUMMARY

JEM’s consulting division is Consultants Collective: an invitation-only, highly vetted group of former senior executives, now serving clients as independent executive consultants, advisors and coaches. Consultants Collective serves clients as one firm, working together to help organizations innovate, transform and improve.

The Account Manager for Consultants Collective will:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships between clients, member consultants and JEM management to ensure that clients’ needs are being met, expectations are exceeded and consultants have the support, resources and information they need to be successful 
  • Represent Consultants Collective with clients, working closely to support member consultants and advisors on client assignments and projects
  • Organize and participate in client meetings with consultants
  • Track project status and manage project plan to ensure that the consultant or consulting team meets project deliverables efficiently and effectively; update workflows in SmartSheet; provide regular status reports to client, consultants and management
  • Develop presentations and client presentations and reports (in .PPT and MS Word)
  • Escalate issues to JEM senior management as necessary
  • Manage Slack channels with client information for team collaboration
  • Work closely with various team members, vendors or consultants on tasks or projects as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Great team player, but also comfortable working independently as a self-starter; ability to work with some oversight and within a team environment
  • Knowledge, skills and ability to build rapport and collaborate with team and all levels of an organization, internally and externally
  • Must have experience with project management tools, ideally SmartSheet, Google Suite and Microsoft Office; extensive .PPT design experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and project management principles and skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work, projects, multiple deadlines and competing priorities

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING

  • Account management, customer success, executive administrative and / or consulting associate experience
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or related field or equivalent work experience
    1-3 years of related experience

JEM Marketing & Communications Coordinator & Editorial Assistant for Biznology (Part-time)

POSITION SUMMARY

JEM produces a wide range of content, including articles, webinars, podcasts, newsletters, journal articles, reports, presentations and other digital and social media content. This position is responsible for supporting various aspects of the business, including:

  • Support the Executive Editor of Biznology on overall editorial strategy and content management, management of contributors and content for the company’s digital magazine, Biznology.com; amplification of content across social channels; and working with the development team on site updates
  • Coordinate, promote and assist with production of podcasts, webinars and videos
  • Manage marketing and communications of JEM, with some oversight and direction, digital and social media marketing management and content creation, production and publishing and website content updates
  • Email newsletter; research report and email production and publishing / distribution management

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Proofread, copyedit, provide comprehensive content revisions, and develop new content development as assigned with a commitment to accuracy and editorial standards
  • Read corrected copies or proofs in order to ensure that all corrections have been made.
  • Keep marketing and communications up to date
    Create and manage marketing collateral to ensure content is accurate and current
  • Work closely with various team members and vendors
    Manage the Biznology editorial calendar and update Biznology.com with content via WordPress
    Assist with editorial project management by updating workflows in SmartSheet
  • Coordinate with the outsourced IT team to make technical updates to Biznology.com
    Other administrative tasks and duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Great team player, but also comfortable working independently as a self-starter; ability to work with some oversight and within a team environment
  • Eager to grow, advance and learn new skills
  • Knowledge, skills and ability to build rapport and collaborate with team and all levels of an organization, internally and externally
  • Must have experience with WordPress and Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Teams and SmartSheet is a plus
  • Graphic design and audio / video editing skills are a plus
    Excellent time management and project management principles and skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work, projects, multiple deadlines and competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proofreading, editing experience and knowledge of AP style writing and copyediting techniques a plus

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English or related field or equivalent work experience
    1-3 years of editorial, communications or marketing, and/or copyediting or related experience
  • Writing examples available for review

The successful candidate will be highly organized and able to prioritize work with attention to detail for copyediting and formatting articles, documents, presentations, marketing and communications collateral and other materials as well as being committed to the mission of delivering accurate, engaging, accessible, and supportive information to JEM’s internal and external stakeholders.

Member Services Coordinator for Consultants Collective (Part-time)

Consultants Collective serves clients as one firm, working together to help organizations innovate, transform and improve.

The Member Services Coordinator will:

  • Keep membership information and collateral up to date
  • Communicate with and support prospective, new, existing and departing members
  • Support the on-boarding and orientation of new member consultants
  • Coordinate and participate in member meetings and events
  • Support members as they have questions about their membership
  • Manage the Consultants Collective Community, a private online community hosted on Mighty Networks
  • Manage the annual member satisfaction survey; analyze results and present to management

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Work closely with JEM’s senior management and Consultants Collective member consultants
  • Facilitate the on-boarding of new members, including:
    – Manage membership documentation
    – Send documents through DocuSign
    – Maintain membership database
    – Add new member profiles to the Consultants Collective website (built on Wix)
    – Other administrative tasks and duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Membership management and / or online community management experience
  • Great team player, but also comfortable working independently as a self-starter; ability to work with some oversight and within a team environment
